Part of Michigan's Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program "Workforce for Wellness" Initiative — approximately $34,231,500 total across five funding opportunities supporting recruitment, retention, and training across a broad range of health care professions in rural Michigan. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, private and public entities, local health departments, federally recognized Michigan tribes or an Indian Health Clinic program, and universities. Project director access requests due 5:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2026; grant applications due 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2026 via EGrAMS. Award period: October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027.
