WIC Program Statewide Personnel & Service Delivery

Summary

The South Dakota Department of Health, Office of Family Nutrition Services (OFNS) seeks proposals from qualified agencies to hire, employ, and manage staff delivering WIC program services across South Dakota. The awarded agency will be responsible for recruiting, supervising, and providing oversight of administrative, nutrition, data, and professional staff essential to WIC operations, as specified in Appendix A. Staff assignments and placements will be coordinated with WIC Dietitian Managers, the Office Administrator, and the Grants/Contract Manager. The agency must maintain staffing levels to meet program needs, adapt to changing funding allocations from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), and provide consistent, participant-centered services promoting nutrition and access to resources for WIC-eligible individuals and families.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and local government entities with demonstrated expertise in public health or nutrition service delivery, and capacity to employ and supervise staff as described in Appendix A. Entities must meet all licensing and professional requirements specified in the RFP Document.
