The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is offering the Rural Hospital Improvement Grant (RFA No. HHS0015677) to provide time-limited financial support for rural hospitals in Texas. Up to 33 hospitals may each receive up to $350,000, with a total grant pool of $11,550,000 for FY2025, supporting hospital improvement activities aimed at enhancing financial stability. No local cost share or match is required.
Eligible applicants are rural hospitals in Texas as defined by HHSC. Refer to Section II. Scope of Grant Project and Section 2.3 Eligible Service Areas of the RFA for specific qualifications.
