the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) School-Based Wellness Equipment funding opportunity. Eligible rural, tribal, public, and private schools in North Dakota may apply for funds to strengthen student physical, mental, and emotional well-being through new wellness equipment purchases. Approximately $500,000 in federal funds will support about 20 awards, estimated at $25,000 each. The funding aligns with Initiative 1: Make North Dakota Healthy Again and aims to create healthier learning environments, foster supportive spaces, and improve student academic success and engagement.
Eligible applicants are rural, tribal, public, and private schools in North Dakota, except those located in the cities of Grand Forks, Fargo, West Fargo, and Bismarck, unless the population served is at least 50% ND rural citizens or the funds are used for ND rural citizens.
