Rural & Medically Underserved Area Grant Opportunity (SCDHHS-23-002)

This funding opportunity supports public or private healthcare providers serving rural or medically underserved areas in South Carolina to create or improve healthcare facilities. Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be a public or private health care provider serving rural areas as designated by CRPH or Medically Underserved Areas as designated by HRSA in South Carolina.

Requirements Checklist

• Project must benefit a CRPH-designated rural area or HRSA-designated MUA
• Demonstrate need with supporting data for community and proposed service area
• Submit continuous quality improvement plan and evidence of prior improvement work
• Commit to operate the project for at least 5 years
