the Rural Health Capital Improvement Investment Program (RHCIP). Through this program, over $223 million in federal funds will be distributed via competitive application to rural healthcare and childcare providers for minor renovations, equipment, and infrastructure upgrades to expand access to essential services and modernize facilities. Eligible projects are those that strengthen New Hampshire's rural health and childcare systems and align with the RHTP goals. Application guides and additional details are forthcoming.
Eligibility
Eligible organizations include those with projects located in rural regions as defined by HRSA, or meeting the definition of a rural health facility under the CMS Rural Health Transformation Program. Non-profit organizations (such as critical access hospitals, county-run nursing homes, federally qualified health centers, community mental health centers, rural health clinics, and community-based organizations in rural NH) are prioritized.

Requirements Checklist
Project must be located in rural NH or qualify under the CMS program;
Project must align with RHTP goals (expand access, modernize, improve quality, etc.);
Submission of letter of intent followed by full application with required supporting documentation;
Licensure and good standing verification;
Compliance with federal and state regulations;
Award requires GO-NORTH approval and adherence to pre-approved project scope;
Cost reimbursement model – invoices and post-award documentation required;
