This standalone RFA, Initiative #8 under Florida’s Rural Health Transformation Program, seeks to build sustainable rural health workforce pipelines through grants supporting two independent tracks: (1) supervised clinical rotations and preceptorships for health professions students; and (2) allied and direct care career technical education (CTE) pathways for high school and college students. Projects must serve designated rural counties within the four RHTP regions, and aim to expand rural health workforce capacity, promote innovation, and ensure lasting impact.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include for-profit and not-for-profit Florida health care providers, community organizations, non-clinical providers, and other qualified entities located in, or actively serving, eligible rural communities across the four RHTP regions. Applicants must clearly demonstrate direct support for rural health transformation and alignment with program goals. Eligibility is defined by initiative focus and confirmed through the Agency's formal process.
