RHTP Specialty and Acute Care Bundle (Bundle Two)

Summary

The RHTP Specialty and Acute Care Bundle (Bundle Two) strengthens rural specialty/acute capacity, requiring participation in HIE, diagnostic support, and implementation of at least one lead telehealth model (such as specialty access, eICU, telestroke, or behavioral health telehealth), with specific attention to Initiatives 4, 5, 6, 7, 13, and 14 as outlined in the RFA. Projects must support eligible rural communities across defined regions.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include for-profit and not-for-profit Florida health care providers, community organizations, non-clinical entities, regional networks/consortia, and other qualified entities located in or actively serving patients in eligible rural communities. Applicants must meet baseline organizational eligibility requirements (see RFA Section 5.1, Addenda) and propose projects aligned with RHTP goals.

Requirements Checklist

• Serve eligible rural communities (Super Regions as most recently defined in Addendum 2) and comply with RHTP priorities; at least Initiatives 13 and 14 plus one of 4, 5, 6, or 7 required.
