The South Dakota Department of Health (DOH), under the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) initiative, is seeking qualified organizations to support the development and oversight of Regional EMS Hub models to improve coordination, resource sharing, and EMS system performance statewide. Up to $8,000,000 is available under the RHT Enhancing Sustainable EMS initiative for strategic planning, technical assistance, and implementation support. The contractor will work closely with DOH and must meet all requirements outlined in the RFP, including ongoing oversight activities, regional collaboration, and system sustainability, prioritizing rural, frontier, and Tribal communities.
Eligible applicants are qualified organizations with demonstrated experience in EMS system planning, development, and oversight. Organizations must be able to coordinate regional projects with the South Dakota Department of Health and fulfill all requirements specified in RFP Document Section 2.2.
