Funds provider apprenticeship and structured training pipeline initiatives to expand healthcare workforce serving rural Nevada. Supports project costs including faculty, stipends, housing, equipment, and instructional materials. Priority goes to applicants with rural partnerships and evidence of documented provider gaps. Funds for rural training pipelines, high school-to-career pathways, and initiatives to increase retention, reduce burnout, and build local allied health and non-physician provider workforce in rural areas. Projects may include local training partnerships, apprenticeships, and career ladder development. Funds provider training and rural health care apprenticeship programs.
Non-profit, governmental, and for-profit health care organizations, including universities, community colleges, hospitals, and organizations operating health care apprenticeship/training programs. Preference for partnerships with rural hospitals, FQHCs, and tribal clinics. Rural hospitals, FQHCs, rural clinics (including Tribal Health Clinics), and other health care providers in rural communities. Registered vendors with the State of Nevada. Eligible entities focused on training and apprenticeships.
