The Minnesota Department of Health Office of Rural Health and Primary Care is soliciting applications for Project ECHO programming focused on maternal and behavioral health for rural clinicians and medically underserved communities across Minnesota. This initiative, funded 100% by CMS/HHS, seeks to expand rural provider education and capacity through virtual, case-based sessions (12–24 sessions per grantee, monthly), with an emphasis on health equity, network-building, and workforce development. Partnerships with Tribal Nations and organizations serving underserved rural communities are encouraged.
Eligible applicants include public or private entities with capacity to deliver ECHO programming, including but not limited to: hospitals, health care provider organizations, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Tribal health organizations, professional associations, academic medical centers, and nonprofit organizations with demonstrated experience serving rural or medically underserved populations in Minnesota.
