Competitive Nevada Health Authority grant cycle under the Statewide Health Care Access and Recruitment Program (SHARP) created by Senate Bill 5 of the 2025 Special Session. The SFY27 Grant Cycle 1 RFA supports projects that address Nevada health care workforce shortages, service gaps, and access barriers identified in the Nevada Health Workforce Needs Assessment for 2026. Funding is intended for sustainable workforce capacity, infrastructure expansion, and regional access projects that do not duplicate RHTP-funded investments.
Eligible applicants include healthcare facilities and clinics, FQHCs, accredited higher education and training programs, behavioral health and substance use entities, eligible oncology organizations, and governmental or non-profit entities that provide direct patient care, specialized provider training, or services expanding regional health care access in Nevada. Applicants must be able to carry project costs on a reimbursement basis and designate a primary fiscal agent for contract compliance.
