Nevada Rural Presidential Fitness Test Implementation

Summary

Funds implementation of a rural health initiative tied to the Presidential Fitness program in Nevada. Supports community-based health promotion and physical wellness programs in rural areas.

Eligibility

Applicants must be either the Nevada Department of Education or the State Public Charter School Association, representing eligible elementary, junior high or middle schools, high schools, special schools, or charter schools in rural Nevada (see NRS 388.020).

• Applicants must demonstrate readiness, need, and commitment to sustainable health and fitness programming. Applications must be submitted by email to RHTP@nvha.nv.gov by the due date. No cost share or match is required. Required documentation includes program narrative, budget, and readiness assessment.
