Nevada Rural Health Outcome Accelerator Program (RHOAP)

Eligibility

Applicants must be registered vendors with the State of Nevada. Detailed eligibility requirements will be outlined in the released RFA. Early registration via NV Vendor Services is encouraged. Applicants must be either the Nevada Department of Education or the State Public Charter School Association, representing eligible elementary, junior high or middle schools, high schools, special schools, or charter schools in rural Nevada (see NRS 388.020).

Requirements Checklist

• Proposals must target improvements in one or more rural health domains: chronic disease, primary care (including oral health), behavioral health (including substance use and youth mental health), and maternal/infant health. Applicants must adhere to collaborative models of care and administrative cost limits (≤10%). All requirements and guidance will be detailed in the RFA.
• Applicants must demonstrate readiness, need, and commitment to sustainable health and fitness programming. Applications must be submitted by email to RHTP@nvha.nv.gov by the due date. No cost share or match is required. Required documentation includes program narrative, budget, and readiness assessment.
