Funds technology and health innovation projects in rural Nevada. Intended to expand digital health tools, telehealth infrastructure, and data-driven care improvements. Projects must address practical, real-world technology needs in rural or frontier health care delivery and align with one of three tracks: core health IT, provider-facing digital health, and consumer-facing tools. Strong focus on interoperability, security, and sustainability.
Eligible Applicants: rural and frontier healthcare providers and provider organizations (hospitals, clinics, health centers); Tribal Nations, Tribal health organizations, Tribal healthcare providers; provider-led regional consortia serving rural/frontier providers. Applicants must retain project leadership, governance, compliance, and sustainability responsibility. Counties, local govt. agencies, academic institutions, community orgs, school-based health programs, and tech vendors may participate only as partners/subgrantees (not as prime applicants) unless they directly deliver healthcare services.
