Provides up to $1,500,000 through the Rural Health Transformation Program to support purchase and deployment of a mobile mammography unit with 3D technology, focused on expanding breast cancer screening for rural, low-income, and medically underserved populations in western North Dakota.
Eligible applicants include organizations able to provide breast cancer screening or mobile health services committed to serving rural, low-income, and medically underserved populations in western North Dakota. Priority is given to those with: experience in preventive screening programs; established partnerships for diagnostic/treatment follow-up; robust data reporting/outcome tracking; and demonstrated financial/operational capacity for program sustainability.
