This RFP seeks proposals from Minnesota-based organizations to identify and address systemic factors driving healthcare provider burnout in rural Minnesota and to design, pilot, and scale evidence-based interventions that increase workforce retention and improve rural health outcomes. Up to 10 rural healthcare organizations per year may be selected as pilot sites over five years. Funding is provided through the federal Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), established by H.R.1 (Section 71401 of Public Law 119-21), administered by the Minnesota Department of Health, and funded by CMS/HHS.
Eligible applicants must be Minnesota-based organizations with proven experience in workplace burnout mitigation, specifically serving rural community health needs. Nonprofits, academic institutions, and local government entities are eligible to apply.
