Maternal & Perinatal Health Lead Agencies - Idaho RHTP (FFY26)

Summary

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) is soliciting applications for two lead agencies: (1) Maternal Health - Obstetrics Lead Agency to support rural obstetric readiness through quality improvement (QI) initiatives and deployment of the Emergency Readiness Resource Kit; (2) Perinatal Quality Collaborative Lead Agency to expand rural hospital participation in perinatal collaboratives, aiming to add 8 new rural sites by 2030. Year 1 funding is $1,200,000 for the Obstetrics Lead Agency and $2,400,000 for the Perinatal Quality Collaborative, totaling $3,600,000 for FFY26. These initiatives target enhanced maternal and infant outcomes in Idaho's rural populations.

Eligibility

Health systems, hospital associations, public health organizations, and quality improvement entities with maternal/perinatal health expertise serving rural Idaho.

Requirements Checklist

• Applicants must: (1) possess demonstrated experience in administering maternal/perinatal health programs in rural settings, (2) be able to support provider education and QI initiatives, (3) implement resource kits and participate in state and federal data collection, (4) submit monthly financial status reports, and (5) demonstrate accountability through regular performance and outcome measurement deliverables.
