Forecasted Utah RHTP grant opportunity to support development and implementation of a statewide, cloud-based, semantically interoperable data platform harmonizing EHRs, claims, and public health data for Utah rural providers. Up to $11,000,000 available in Year 1 (up to $65,000,000 over 5 years); one anticipated award. Estimated open date July 10, 2026; no Letter of Intent required. Project start: September 1, 2026. Only Utah-based 501(c)(3) health organizations are eligible. Applicants must partner with rural Utah health facilities and demonstrate experience in managing state/federal awards for rural partners.
Eligible applicants: Utah-based 501(c)(3) health organizations with established partnerships with rural Utah health facilities and demonstrated experience managing state and federal funding streams with rural partners. Must have capacity to support 5-year service commitments in rural Utah for clinical staff recruited/retained by the grant.
