Competitive funding opportunity under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Initiative 1: Make North Dakota Healthy Again, administered by North Dakota Health and Human Services. Provides support for hospital-based wellness equipment to improve the health and well-being of staff at North Dakota rural hospitals (Critical Access Hospitals, eligible tribal facilities). Up to 10 awards expected, approximately $50,000 each. Equipment requested should be specific and include brand, model, features, cost information, and justification of need. Application via Qualtrics, one per organization. Performance period starts upon execution and ends September 30, 2027. Funded by CMS/US HHS.
Eligible applicants are rural hospitals in North Dakota, defined as Critical Access Hospitals. Non-federally operated Indian Health Service facilities and tribally run 638 health facilities are eligible. Federally operated Indian Health Service hospitals, clinics, health centers, behavioral health/psychiatric hospitals, and urban hospitals (entities in Grand Forks, Fargo, West Fargo, Bismarck) are excluded. Only one application per organization is permitted for this opportunity.
