Competitive, reimbursement-based grants up to $350,000 for eligible Oklahoma rural EMS and Community Paramedicine entities to purchase ambulances, community paramedicine SUVs, or other EMS vehicles. Awards are federally funded via CMS/HHS RHTP, aiming to improve rural emergency health access and response capacity. Up to 20 grants will be distributed; all vehicles must primarily serve (≥90%) rural Oklahoma communities per Attachment A list.
Eligible applicants must be EMS or Community Paramedicine entities or closely related organizations, currently providing emergency medicine, mobile integrated healthcare, community paramedicine, or related services in rural Oklahoma (communities ≤55,000, outside Oklahoma and Tulsa counties; see Attachment A for eligible areas). Applicants may be headquartered anywhere in Oklahoma, but must demonstrate a history of service in rural Oklahoma. All applicants must maintain an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), current SAM.gov registration, and a valid Certificate of Insurance (see Subrecipient Terms in Attachment D for details). Fiscal sponsorship is permitted with the sponsor as the applying entity. Entities suspended, debarred, or excluded from federal programs are ineligible.
