Development and Administration of the Medication Aide Certified Examination

Summary

The State of Tennessee Department of Health is soliciting qualified service providers for the development and administration of the Medication Aide Certified Examination for certification candidates of the Tennessee Board of Nursing. The contract will provide examination development and administration services, supporting regulatory standards and credentialing pathways. Due to confidential information under Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-504(i), interested service providers must return a signed nondisclosure agreement to the Solicitation Coordinator prior to receiving the full solicitation details. Providers must also be registered to do business with the State of Tennessee, which may take approximately 10-14 days.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include service providers capable of examination development and administration for Medication Aide certification candidates, meeting Tennessee Board of Nursing requirements. Providers must sign a nondisclosure agreement prior to accessing full solicitation details and must be registered as a vendor with the State of Tennessee.

Requirements Checklist

• Complete and return the attached nondisclosure agreement to the Solicitation Coordinator (Simeon.Ayton@tn.gov). Registration to do business with the State of Tennessee is required and may take 10-14 days. Providers must deliver examination development and administration services for Medication Aide candidates as specified by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
