Supports the implementation of EMS treat-in-place pilot programs, including protocol development, telehealth consulting equipment, software, training, and related needs to reduce unnecessary transport and emergency department burden in rural Alabama. Projects must align with the ARHTP EMS Treat-in-Place strategy and directly benefit rural communities.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include EMS agencies, rural hospitals, critical access hospitals, and rural emergency hospitals capable of carrying out an EMS Treat-in-Place Initiative project and complying with all award requirements. Applicants must have a valid UEI and maintain active SAM.gov registration. Projects must serve rural Alabama.
Applicants must submit all required information, attachments, and supporting documentation including Certificate of Existence, SAM.gov registration, IRS Form W-9, Alabama Vendor Disclosure Statement, conflict of interest/financial management/internal controls/procurement/standards of conduct policies per federal requirements, last three years' financial statements and audits, project plan (ADECA template), budget workbook and narrative, documentation of matching funds or in-kind contributions if applicable, and any initiative- or project-specific materials required by ADECA. Subrecipients must meet reporting, reimbursement, and compliance requirements outlined in the NOFO.
